The Goal of this project is to create and complete one project each day, for seven consecutive days. There are no rules or proscriptions for the projects that you undertake, but they must be built, and documented each day in entirety. The project will begin with defining a set of constraints for the week, then working with those constraints, following through and creating something, each day of the week.

Topic: Expound and reflect on one “fact” for each religion taken from the Adherents website, or use several facts that relate to one another.  Create a visual map of the information chosen for each religion.

I decided to try my hand at Many Eyes to create the map for 1 of 7.  Because one of my constraints is that I use only information on Adherents.com I had to create, organize  and upload my own data set.   The IMB page Many Eyes takes you to in order to create a login is not the login you need to Many Eyes. (Weird) But after a few attempts I finally started getting some decent maps.    My browser kept crashing when I tried to apply some of the visualization to the data set however.  I switched over to Safari and that seemed to handle the process better then Firefox (go figure)   So are a few of the final iterations that I ended up with, they are linked to the interactive online maps  …
